Opti Staffing is hiring for an experienced CNC Machinist / Programmer to join a high-precision manufacturing team in Wood Village, Oregon. This opportunity is with a well-established precision machining operation specializing in complex, tight-tolerance components for demanding industries. We’re looking for someone who can take ownership of programming, setup, and machining from start to finish.

• Program CNC mills and lathes using Mastercam
• Perform full machine setups, including tooling, offsets, and fixtures
• Operate CNC mills and lathes to produce precision components
• Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and technical drawings
• Troubleshoot machining and programming issues to optimize production
• Inspect finished parts to ensure quality and tight tolerance standards
• Work closely with production and engineering teams to improve efficiency

• $35+/hr DOE

• 2-3 years of Mastercam programming experience
• Experience fully setting up and operating CNC mills and lathes
• Strong understanding of G-code, tooling, and machining practices
• Blueprint reading and GD&T knowledge
• Ability to hold tight tolerances and maintain quality standards

• 2+ years CNC programming and machining experience
• Proficiency in Mastercam
• Full setup and operation experience on both mill and lathe
• Reliable transportation and strong attendance
• Commitment to safety and precision

• Experience with multi-axis machining
• Advanced troubleshooting skills
• Background in precision or aerospace manufacturing
• Quality inspection experience
