Quality Control

Job Summary

We are currently looking for a Mill Quality Control who reports to the shift Mill Operator and/or Operations Manager.

• Taking samples off the screen decks every hour to ensure material is in spec.
• Checking all equipment to ensure it is in good order and operating correctly.
• Reporting any defects or safety issues to Mill Operator, maintenance department, or Operations Manager.
• Changing screens when needed to maintain a quality product.
• Greasing screen decks daily and other equipment as needed if a problem arises.
• Assisting maintenance if needed when the plant is down or helping the mill laborer with clean‑up while the plant is being repaired.
• Following all MSHA regulations and helping maintain a safe work environment.

• Work independently with minimum supervision.
• Basic data entry skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Hourly rate: $19. Position:
Full time and Permanent.
