Responsibilities

* Maintain, repair, install and fabricate plan equipment

* Troubleshoot equipment problems

* Read blueprints and schematic drawings to perform work procedures

* Grind parts

* Weld parts

* Other duties as assigned

* May fight fires at incipient phase

* Attend all safety and crew meetings

* Data entry on Dynastar for various scheduling, planning and maintenance reports

Required Qualifications

* High school diploma or GED

* Willing and able to work overtime, weekends, on-call, and holidays

* Experience with reading blueprints and precision measurements

* Troubleshooting experience

* Experience using a computer for record keeping and documentation - Using a Work Order System

* Able to work in extreme heat/cold, navigate catwalks and ladders - physical ability to perform the essential physical functions of the position, which includes climbing stairs, navigating catwalks, lifting up to 50 pounds, stooping and bending

* Ability to communicate effectively and constructively

* Comprehension of complex work instructions and documentation

* Ability to work with mathematical concepts in an industrial environment

* Basic trade skills in industrial equipment repair and execution of routine preventative maintenance of heavy industrial equipment

* Knowledge of and ability to weld

* Machinist training and experience

* Stable employment history with a minimum two years of experience in Industrial Maintenance work OR equivalent education to include vocation/technical school certificate

* A personal and total commitment to observe all safety rules and regulations

* Knowledge of bearing installment, coupling, belts, sprockets and chain drive installations

* Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems

* Basic knowledge of metal fabrication

* Basic knowledge of cylinder repair

* Working knowledge of basic industrial electricity issues

* Must be willing to keep up with mechanical advancements

* Performs other duties as assigned
