Production Operator

Position Details

Production Operator – Canaan, OR. Contract on W2 (U.S. citizen or green card holders only). 12‑month assignment, 40 hours per week. Client:
Medical Device Company.

Shift: 5 days per week, 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. (first shift). Unpaid 30‑minute lunch. Associates may transition to 12‑hour night shifts (7 p.m.–7 a.m.) if they seek full‑time employment.

• Perform routine production functions including filling, utility operations, packing, packaging, assembling, labeling, and inspecting under general supervision.
• Maintain accurate records and logs in accordance with FDA, GMPs, and ISO 9000.
• Work effectively in a team setting to support team goals and objectives.
• Make effective decisions relative to position requirements within standard operating procedures.
• Follow instructions and work within routine, standard practices.
• Work under direct supervision, following standard operating procedures.

• High‑school diploma or equivalent.
• Developed basic skills in tasks, techniques, and procedures within one skill area, process, or method.
• Applied basic knowledge and skills to complete routine tasks consisting of prescribed steps.
• Effective communication skills at a level that co‑workers and Team Lead/Supervisor can understand.
• Ability to read, write, interpret, and comprehend specifications written in English and perform basic math calculations.
• Ability to work flexible and/or extended hours and report to work on a regular, punctual basis.
• Ability to get along with people and work in a team environment.
• Willingness to rotate into different tasks and responsibilities.
