Responsible for maintaining the run of machine, motors and vehicles. Assess and monitor the condition of machinery. Oils and lubricates equipment and machinery throughout facility.
Key Responsibilities- Ability to work in confined spaces, and/or a dirty, dusty environment and in high places
- Ability to climb ladders, bend, stoop, lift, and twist

- Must be willing to work weekends and holidays as requested
- Must be decisive, craftsman, and maintain a clean work environment
- Must have basic handtools
- Must exhibit proper use of all hand tools
- Learn and understand safe cutting and welding practices
- Be willing to accept orders and instructions once instructed by lead man or supervisor
- Develop good troubleshooting skills on machinery
- Become familiar with plant operations
- Complete all assigned PM’s on time
- Run all necessary oil and grease lines as needed, change bearings and install manual and automatic oiling systems, etc.
- Develop good preventative maintenance practices on all assigned machinery
- Stay until all work or assignments are completed
- Must be able to communicate and able to work well with maintenance personnel, supervisors and operators
- Must possess basic computer skills and keep daily work order schedule current in EAM
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Must be 100% safety minded and perform all tasks required safely and assist in the installation, repair, maintenance and operation of equipment
- Must learn and practice all safety and lockout procedures for equipment
- Must be able to work on various surfaces such as concrete, grating and steel
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Know how to properly use safety harnesses and lanyards
- Trained to use a man lift
- Capable of working in elevated areas
- Capable of working in tight and confined areas
- Safe use of all tools (hand and power)
- Work safely at all times and provide a health work environment
- Previous maintenance and/or lubrication experience
- Previous experience with industrial equipment
