YOUR MISSION
Studson is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Pad Printing Press Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining pad printing equipment to ensure high-quality printing on ABS plastic helmets. This role requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to maintaining production efficiency. If you have never run a pad printer before, that's no problem.
We will train our technicians on our specific equipment.
- Set up and adjust pad printing machines according to job specifications.
- Prepare inks, pads, clichés, and other necessary materials for printing operations.
- Operate pad printing machines to produce high-quality prints on ABS plastic.
- Inspect printed products for quality assurance and make necessary adjustments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and technical issues with printing equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and calibration of pad printing machines.
- Maintain accurate records of production runs, maintenance, and material usage.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and improve processes.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Previous experience as a Pad Printing Press Operator or in a similar role preferred.
- Knowledge of pad printing equipment, inks, and substrates.
- Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and technical specifications.
- Basic computer skills for record-keeping and machine programming.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift materials as needed.
- Experience with color mixing and ink formulation.
- Familiarity with various printing techniques and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent vision.
- Full time M-F day shift, no nights, no weekends
