Production Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Ensure that product meets specification requirements.
• Address equipment issues or product specification deviations per Production Supervisor’s instructions.
• Perform pre‑op start‑up procedures to ensure that oven and fryers are clean and ready for use.
• Report food safety and quality issues to Lead Packer, Supervisor, or Production Manager in the respective department.
• Follow J&J Snack Foods’s Food Safety Plan (FSP), the Safe Quality Food (SQF) Program, the Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and the Good Documentation Practices (GDPs).
• Follow all OSHA safety rules and all food safety laws and regulations.
• Maintain and record correct temperatures and pressure according to product specifications.
• Complete oven/bake time worksheets and record moisture levels.
• Troubleshoot with leads and maintenance for any persistent major problems with the line.
• Make adjustments to the line per instructions by an authorized manager or supervisor in the department.
• Update production records and forward them to the production office.

US Salary Pay Range: $60,000 — $75,000 USD
