Overview
Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a Press Brake Operator role in Boring, OR. Key Responsibilities- Set up and operate CNC and manual press brake machines to bend, form, and shape metal components according to specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings to ensure accurate production.
- Measure and inspect finished parts using calipers, tape measures, and precision measuring tools to maintain quality standards.
- Select proper tooling, dies, and machine settings based on material type and job requirements.
- Load and unload materials safely while maintaining efficient workflow and production schedules.
- Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as needed to ensure consistent product quality.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment to maintain safe and efficient operation.
- Collaborate with fabrication and production teams to meet daily production goals and deadlines.
- Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Accurately document production data, completed work, and any quality concerns or equipment issues.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; prior press brake or metal fabrication experience preferred.
- Experience operating CNC press brake machinery and reading blueprints strongly preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of precision measuring tools and quality inspection processes.
- Excellent teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining productivity and quality standards.
- Flexibility to work overtime or varying shifts as needed.
$32–$42/hour DOE (Depending on Experience).
