The Manufacturing Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Hubbard, OR. In this position, the engineer will develop, optimize, and document manufacturing processes to improve safety, quality, efficiency, and cost performance. Daily responsibilities include analyzing production workflows, specifying tooling and equipment, supporting machining and fabrication operations, and collaborating with production, quality, and maintenance teams to resolve technical issues. The role also involves implementing continuous improvement initiatives, participating in root-cause analysis and corrective actions, and supporting new product introductions from engineering handoff through full-scale production.

The Manufacturing Engineer will prepare process documentation, work instructions, and standard operating procedures, while providing technical guidance to production staff.

• Candidates should possess strong knowledge of Manufacturing Processes and Manufacturing Engineering principles.
• Candidates should possess skills in Industrial Engineering, including workflow analysis, process optimization, and lean methodologies.
• Candidates should possess a solid foundation in Mechanical Engineering, including understanding of materials, mechanics, and design for manufacturability.
• Candidates should possess hands-on experience with Machining operations, tooling selection, and CNC or manual machine setup and optimization.
• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T, and translate them into robust manufacturing processes.
• Experience with CAD/CAM software and ERP or MRP systems is highly beneficial.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively on the shop floor and in cross-functional teams.
