Location:
Sherwood, OR Pay:
Starting at $18- $20/hr doe
Schedule:
Monday–Friday Shift: 9:00 AM–5:30 PM
Our client has been a leader in the precision machining industry for over 40 years. Known for exceptional quality and value, they built their reputation in the semiconductor industry before expanding into the commercial, medical, aerospace, and defense sectors. They are looking to add a motivated Shipping & Packaging Associate to their growing team.
What You’ll Do- Package parts and finished products to ensure safe, damage-free delivery
- Use an ERP system to receive inventory into stock, create packing slips, and look up parts
- Review job routers/travelers to verify parts and shipping requirements
- Prepare and palletize shipments for domestic and freight carriers
- Process shipments through Fed Ex, UPS, and other freight carriers
- Load and unload trucks using pallet jacks or forklifts
- Assist with inventory control and cycle counts as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shipping area
- Support the warehouse and production teams with additional material handling duties

- Previous shipping, receiving, material handling, or packaging experience
- Experience using ERP systems is preferred

- Ability to read job travelers or manufacturing paperwork
- Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs consistently throughout the day
- Ability to stand, walk, and work on your feet for extended periods
- Basic computer skills for shipping software and inventory systems
- Forklift experience is a plus (or willingness to be trained)
- Self-motivated, dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
- Strong work ethic with a team-first attitude
