Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a Sr. Manufacturing Technician to join their team. As a Sr. Manufacturing Technician, you will be part of the Manufacturing Support Department supporting production operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate problem-solving skills, technical expertise, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Sr. Manufacturing Technician
Location: Tigard, OR
Pay Range: $36.62
Shift: 4:00 AM - 2:30 PM M-Th
What's the Job?
- Respond to assembly line equipment repair calls by diagnosing and repairing equipment issues.
- Document equipment qualifications, upgrades, and preventative maintenance activities in the MP2 maintenance database.
- Maintain backup equipment and ensure spare parts inventory levels meet manufacturing needs.
- Assist engineers in the operation and development of manufacturing equipment, providing valuable feedback for improvements.
- Construct worktables, set up equipment on assembly lines, and modify workstations to meet production demands.
What's Needed?
- Associates Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Minimum of 4 years related technical experience in manufacturing or equipment maintenance.
- Extensive knowledge of technical concepts, systems fundamentals, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Ability to interpret schematics, manuals, and test equipment to perform repairs and modifications.
- Experience working in a quality system environment and performing complex technical assignments.
