Location: Tualatin, OR

Pay: $25 - $33 per hour (DOE)

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 5:30am to 2pm & 7:30am to 4pm

What You’ll Do:

Perform welding and fabrication duties, including but not limited to using welders, grinders, torches, band saws, shears, punches, and drill press.
Read, interpret, and work from blueprints or drawings.
Complete required paperwork and communicate effectively with coworkers.
Participate in skills demonstrations to prove welding proficiency.
Operate forklifts and assist with loading as needed.

What You Need to Have:

1+ year welding experience.
Stable work history with previous experience in structural steel fabrication.
Basic math skills.
Ability to lift 50lbs repeatedly and stand for long periods (4+ hours).

The Musts:

Must be willing to join the Local 516 Union.
Forklift and/or loading experience preferred.
AWS D1.1 FCAW certification highly preferred.

Preferred:

Previous experience in a structural steel fabrication shop.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
