Manufacturing Equipment Technician

Milwaukie, OR Pay Range: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour Shift: 2nd Shift (3:30 PM - 12:00 AM) or 3rd Shift (10:30 PM - 7:00 AM)

Our client, a leading manufacturer, is seeking a Manufacturing Equipment Technician to join their maintenance team in Milwaukie, Oregon. In this hands-on role, you'll help ensure manufacturing equipment operates efficiently by maintaining coolant systems, performing preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting mechanical issues.

• Monitor and maintain coolant systems across manufacturing equipment
• Test coolant condition using refractometers and pH meters and take corrective action as needed
• Change and replenish coolant systems, clean tanks, and maintain coolant mixing equipment
• Replace machine filters and service coolant system components, including pumps
• Assist with preventative maintenance activities and TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) events
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and support production uptime
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment

• High School Diploma or GED
• Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to disassemble and reassemble equipment and components
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues and follow preventative maintenance procedures
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
• Ability to regularly lift up to 40 pounds
• Ability to work at heights using ladders and lift platforms
