X-Ray Shooter

PCT - Pacific Cast Technologies is seeking an X-Ray Shooter / Radiographer I to inspect high integrity aluminum investment castings for aerospace and industrial customers. In this entry-level role, you will set up and operate digital X-ray equipment, follow detailed work instructions, and evaluate images to identify defects against strict quality standards. You'll handle cast parts safely, document results in production systems, and support continuous improvement activities.

Working in a precision, safety-focused environment, you'll receive strong training, gain hands-on NDT experience, and build a career in advanced manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate X-ray equipment to inspect aluminum investment castings
• Follow written procedures, work instructions, and safety protocols
• Position parts and adjust equipment settings to obtain quality images
• Interpret X-ray images to identify defects against specifications
• Record inspection results in logs and manufacturing systems
• Tag, route, and handle parts according to disposition instructions
• Maintain clean, organized work area and basic equipment care
• Communicate findings with quality, engineering, and production teams

• Comply with radiation safety and PPE requirements
