Manufacturing Supervisor

Selmet is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor to lead production teams building precision titanium castings for aerospace and defense customers. Based in Springfield, OR, you will oversee daily manufacturing operations, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery in a high-tech environment. Responsibilities include coordinating workloads, monitoring production metrics, driving continuous improvement, and enforcing strict aerospace quality standards. You will train and coach operators, troubleshoot process issues, coordinate with engineering and maintenance, and support 5S and lean initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day manufacturing operations on assigned shift or area
• Lead, schedule, and coordinate production teams to meet safety, quality, and delivery targets
• Monitor production metrics and adjust resources to maintain throughput and efficiency
• Ensure compliance with aerospace quality standards, work instructions, and documentation
• Identify and drive continuous improvement, 5
• S, and lean manufacturing initiatives
• Train, coach, and evaluate operators and technicians to build skills and performance
• Troubleshoot production and process issues, coordinating with engineering and maintenance
• Maintain a safe work environment and enforce all safety policies and procedures
• Collaborate with planning, quality, and engineering to resolve constraints and nonconformances
• Support implementation of new processes, equipment, and work methods
