Investing Operator

Selmet is seeking an Investing Operator to support production of precision titanium castings for aerospace and defense customers. In this role, you will prepare and operate investing equipment, apply ceramic slurries and stucco to wax assemblies, and monitor process parameters to meet strict quality and safety standards. You will inspect molds, document production data, and follow work instructions and lean manufacturing practices.

Working closely with engineering, quality, and production teams, you'll help drive continuous improvement, maintain a clean and safe work area, and ensure on-time delivery of high-performance aerospace components.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor investing and coating equipment for wax assemblies
• Prepare ceramic slurry and stucco materials to specified standards
• Inspect molds and invested assemblies for defects and conformance
• Follow detailed work instructions, blueprints, and process sheets
• Record production data and maintain accurate documentation
• Adhere to all safety, quality, and aerospace manufacturing standards
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams
• Perform basic equipment cleaning, setup, and preventive care
