PCT - Pacific Cast Technologies is seeking a Penetrant Line Operator Level I to support production of high integrity aluminum investment castings for aerospace and industrial customers. This entry-level role prepares and processes parts through penetrant inspection lines, including cleaning, dipping, dwell, rinse, and drying operations. The operator applies inks and developers, follows written work instructions, and maintains accurate production records.
Responsibilities include basic equipment checks, safe material handling, and adherence to strict quality, safety, and housekeeping standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate penetrant line equipment to process aluminum castings
- Prepare, clean, and stage parts for penetrant inspection
- Apply penetrant, rinses, and developer per work instructions
- Monitor line timing, dwell, and rinse parameters for consistency
- Perform basic equipment checks and report maintenance issues
- Handle chemicals safely and follow all safety procedures
- Maintain accurate production and traceability records
- Inspect parts visually for obvious defects and cleanliness
- Follow quality standards and customer specifications
- Support housekeeping, 5
- S, and continuous improvement activities
