PCT - Pacific Cast Technologies is seeking an Investment Casting Operator to produce high quality aluminum castings for aerospace and industrial customers. In this role, you will prepare molds, pour and monitor molten metal, operate furnaces and related equipment, and perform inspections to meet strict specifications. You will follow detailed work instructions, read basic blueprints or work orders, complete measurements and quality checks, and document results.
The position requires strong safety awareness, attention to detail, reliable attendance, and the ability to work in a hot, fast paced manufacturing environment as part of a precision driven team.
Responsibilities
- Operate investment casting equipment and furnaces to produce aluminum castings
- Prepare molds, shells, and gating systems per work instructions
- Pour and monitor molten metal safely and accurately
- Inspect castings for defects and verify measurements against specifications
- Record production data, quality checks, and equipment readings
- Follow safety procedures and use required PPE at all times
- Read and interpret basic blueprints, work orders, and process sheets
- Perform routine equipment checks and report maintenance needs
- Support continuous improvement and 5
- S initiatives on the shop floor
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals
