Cleanroom Technician

The Cleanroom Technician performs all functions related to tube bending in a controlled cleanroom environment while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and productivity. This role involves Teflon tube bending, basic wiring, and cable assembly, as well as working from engineering drawings to build and label components to print. The technician identifies and reports issues that may affect product quality or on-time delivery, follows established test procedures, and accurately documents test data to support reliable manufacturing outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Perform tube bending operations, including Teflon tube bending, in accordance with safety, quality, and productivity standards.
  • Carry out basic wiring and cable assembly tasks following work instructions and engineering drawings.
  • Read, interpret, and build components to engineering drawings, ensuring accurate labeling to print specifications.
  • Follow detailed test procedures and record test data clearly and accurately for quality and traceability purposes.
  • Inspect assemblies and components to ensure they meet required quality standards and specifications.
  • Work within a cleanroom environment, adhering strictly to all gowning procedures and cleanliness protocols.
  • Identify and communicate issues that may affect product quality or on-time delivery and collaborate on corrective actions.
  • Use hand tools and other equipment safely and effectively during assembly and tube bending operations.
  • Comply with all company safety practices and procedures, including the use of recommended personal protective equipment.
  • Maintain a professional image in accordance with company appearance standards while working in the cleanroom and manufacturing areas.
  • Work both independently and as part of a tight-knit team to meet production goals and deadlines.
  • Engage in effective two-way communication with team members and other departments to support smooth workflow and collaboration.
  • Participate in assignments or training that address changing work demands and treat unexpected circumstances as opportunities to learn.
  • Balance the needs of the organization and the customer when making decisions and prioritizing tasks.
Essential Skills
  • Experience working in a cleanroom environment, following strict gowning and cleanliness procedures.
  • Proficiency in tube bending, including Teflon tube bending, using appropriate hand tools and equipment.
  • Ability to perform assembly, inspection, and cable/wiring work following detailed work instructions.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and build components accurately to print.
  • Strong attention to detail in labeling, testing, and documentation of test data.
  • Capability to work independently and take responsibility for assigned tasks.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet production deadlines.
  • Effective teamwork skills, including the ability to work as part of a tight-knit and competent group.
  • Strong communication skills, including clear speaking, attentive listening, and appropriate response to verbal and nonverbal cues.
