Description:

We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner specializing in Neurology to provide inpatient care in the neurocritical care setting. This locum will collaborate with a neuro-intensivist on-site during the day and be available via phone during the night. The ideal candidate should be comfortable with various neurocritical care cases including pre and post-surgical, ischemic stroke, intracerebral hemorrhage, subarachnoid hemorrhage, seizures, subdural hematomas, and more.

Excellent communication and organizational skills are essential.

Experience with central line, arterial line insertion, and airway management, including intubation, is helpful.

Schedule:

Rotating days and night shifts Typically a 7 on 7 off rotation 12-hour shifts Flexible in the number of shifts in a row/rotations Shifts are 6am-6pm or 6pm-6am Patient Load: 12 patients per shift Facility Details:
