Certifications
Required:
ACLS, BLS, PALS
Experience:
Circulating experience required (cannot train on-site)
Must assist in PACU & Pre-Op (within scope)
Facility:
Low-volume Critical Access Hospital
1–2 cases/day typical (up to 4–5 max)
~1 major case/week
24/7 surgical services
Common Procedures:
Appendectomy, cholecystectomy, hernia repair, ortho (knee/foot/ankle), hysterectomy, bladder/prostate surgery, C-section, colonoscopy, EGD, carpal tunnel, tonsillectomy
Schedule:
Days + shared call
Call: ~50% (2 days/week + every other weekend)
Orientation:
Few days (longer if needed)
