Schedule:
12-hour shifts with on-call requirements for cardiac emergencies; weekend coverage includes one Saturday 0600 to Monday 0600 standby per month; 1:1 patient ratio
Highlights:
Work in a 536-bed short-term acute care teaching hospital with advanced cardiovascular services
Gain experience in both scrub and circulator roles supporting complex cardiac procedures including CABG, valve replacements, LVAD, MAZE procedures, and transplant surgeries
Epic charting system with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, and interpretation services
Opportunity to work across multiple facilities within the healthcare system based on patient care needs
Free parking and scrubs provided for OR/Cath Lab staff
Up to 6 days of pre-approved time off available
Requirements:
Active Oregon RN license or ability to obtain prior to start date
Minimum 2 years of nursing experience with travel experience required
CVOR experience with both scrub and circulator skills preferred
Epic charting system experience required
Current BLS certification
Experience with cardiovascular procedures including CABG, valve replacements, IABP, and vascular access techniques
Two supervisory references covering one year within the last three years
Reliable personal vehicle required for this assignment
Flexibility to float between system facilities as needed
