Schedule/Hours:
  • Travel assignment with flexible scheduling, typically accommodating both day and evening shifts (exact schedule dependent on facility needs).
Required Qualifications:
  • Active, unencumbered RN license
  • Minimum one year of recent Operating Room (OR) nursing experience
  • BLS, ACLS certifications (current and valid)
  • Ability to quickly adapt to new technologies, procedures, and electronic medical records systems
  • Strong communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
Responsibilities:
  • Provide perioperative care and support to patients undergoing surgical procedures
  • Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical techs to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes
  • Maintain sterile field and uphold strict infection control standards
  • Monitor patient status pre-op, intra-op, and post-op, intervening promptly as needed
  • Document care and communicate effectively with patients and their families
