Roles & Responsibilities
- Schedule, lead, and coordinate daily activities of a defined unit on an assigned shift.
- Oversee the delivery of safe, quality nursing care while ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Provide leadership to staff by serving as a resource, role model, mentor, and change agent.
- Direct and oversee a team of nurses and support staff, ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local regulations.
- Coordinate services with other patient care units to ensure patient flow.
- Provide direct specialty nursing services and patient care as appropriate.
