Job Description
Title
Operating Room Registered Nurse - Perioperative
Schedule
Day shift, with participation in a variable on-call rotation.
Assignment Details
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Requirements
- Active RN license in the state
- Certifications:
BLS, ACLS, PALS
- Experience in Pre-Op, Operating Room, and PACU
- Preferred experience in General Surgery, Orthopedics, Gynecology, and Ophthalmology
Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care throughout the perioperative continuum.
- Assist in preoperative assessments and patient education.
- Monitor patients during surgical procedures and in the post-anesthesia care unit (PACU).
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in maintaining a sterile environment and adhering to safety protocols.
Compliance / Notes
All onboarding requirements must be met 2 weeks prior to start.
