Union Post Acute – Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Union Post Acute is a long‑term care and rehabilitation community located in Union, South Carolina, just a short drive from Spartanburg.

• Competitive wages based on experience: $15.50 - $19.45/hr (including shift differentials)
• 12‑Hour shifts available – Days: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM

• Assist residents with daily living activities
• Provide compassionate, resident‑centered care
• Help residents maintain dignity, comfort, and independence
• Work alongside nurses and interdisciplinary team members to ensure exceptional care
• Build meaningful relationships with residents and families

• Perform and assist with routine nursing care and services per resident care plans.
• Maintain resident privacy and confidentiality of protected health information.
• Record accurate care information on flow sheets, notes, and charts.
• Coordinate with nursing and interdisciplinary team to address resident needs.
• Assist with medication administration, personal care, and repositioning of residents.
• Monitor and report changes in resident condition to Nurse Supervisor or Charge Nurse.
• Follow facility policies regarding exposure to blood/body fluids and infection control.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for residents.
• Assist with lifting, turning, and transporting residents as needed.
• Respond promptly to resident calls and assist with urgent needs.

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse's Assistant program.
• Active South Carolina CNA certification.
• Current CPR certification.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Compassion, reliability, and desire to provide high‑quality care.
• Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills.

Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Requires regular standing, walking, and use of computer, copier, and phone.

Low to moderate noise level. Requires regular interaction with residents, staff, and visitors.
