Union Post Acute – Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
Union Post Acute is a long‑term care and rehabilitation community located in Union, South Carolina, just a short drive from Spartanburg.
What We Offer- Competitive wages based on experience: $15.50 - $19.45/hr (including shift differentials)
- 12‑Hour shifts available – Days: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM

- Assist residents with daily living activities
- Provide compassionate, resident‑centered care
- Help residents maintain dignity, comfort, and independence
- Work alongside nurses and interdisciplinary team members to ensure exceptional care
- Build meaningful relationships with residents and families
- Perform and assist with routine nursing care and services per resident care plans.
- Maintain resident privacy and confidentiality of protected health information.
- Record accurate care information on flow sheets, notes, and charts.
- Coordinate with nursing and interdisciplinary team to address resident needs.
- Assist with medication administration, personal care, and repositioning of residents.
- Monitor and report changes in resident condition to Nurse Supervisor or Charge Nurse.
- Follow facility policies regarding exposure to blood/body fluids and infection control.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for residents.
- Assist with lifting, turning, and transporting residents as needed.
- Respond promptly to resident calls and assist with urgent needs.
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse's Assistant program.
- Active South Carolina CNA certification.
- Current CPR certification.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Compassion, reliability, and desire to provide high‑quality care.
- Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills.
Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Requires regular standing, walking, and use of computer, copier, and phone.
Work EnvironmentLow to moderate noise level. Requires regular interaction with residents, staff, and visitors.
