Job Overview

TNAA Total Med RN is seeking a travel nurse (RN, Med Surg) for a 12‑week assignment in Ukiah, California.

Location:

Ukiah, California. 12 hour shifts, 36 hours per week, travel nursing assignment.

• Conduct patient assessments and prioritize data collection based on patients’ immediate conditions or needs.
• Perform ongoing assessments and provide appropriate treatments as ordered by physician.
• Document patient findings and provide education and support to patients’ families.
• Provide bedside care for a variety of patients, including pre‑ and post‑operative patients.
• Prepare, administer, and record prescribed medication, reporting any adverse reactions.
• Change dressings, insert catheters, and start IVs.
• Prepare equipment and assist physicians during examinations and treatments.
• Educate patients on surgical procedures.
• Participate in discharge planning and initiate patient education plans as prescribed.

• BLS and ACLS certification, at least 1 year of recent acute care experience.
• Additional certifications may be required before beginning assignment.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods, lift up to 20 lbs routinely and up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Experience working in fast‑paced environments with patients who may be confused, agitated, or uncooperative.
