Job Responsibilities
Under the general supervision of the Home Health Director, the Registered Nurse functions as an active member of the home health and hospice interdisciplinary team. The RN is accountable for the delivery of coordinated, safe, compassionate, therapeutic, evidence‑based quality care to patients and families, based on individual physical, emotional, and spiritual needs, and appropriate care strategies throughout the lifespan. The RN will provide direct and/or indirect skilled care to patients in the home setting per physician order and agency protocol;
maintain satisfactory relationships with other departments and participate in all phases of education, record maintenance, and policy updating. The RN must have excellent interpersonal communication skills to work with physicians, patients, family members, personnel from other hospitals and clinics, co‑workers, and the general public. The RN must also demonstrate an understanding and appreciation for diverse cultures, interact with others thoughtfully and professionally, and provide professional, comprehensive nursing care for all patients served by Pioneer Memorial Home Health & Hospice.
Job Details
- Wage: $43.03–$67.14 per hour
Qualifications
- Must be currently licensed in Oregon.
- Two years of experience in homecare or medical‑surgical nursing is preferred.
- Pre‑employment background check and drug/alcohol screen required.
