The Certified Nursing Assistant assists the nursing staff in performing routine patient care for a group of patients for a designated period of time.

• Current Nursing Assistant certification validated by the Louisiana Department of Health and Hospitals registry.
• Current BLS certification through any International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation (ILCOR) course (e.g., Ochsner Health System, American Heart Association, American Red Cross) that includes a manikin check‑off.

Must possess good physical health. Duties include standing, sitting or walking for long periods, lifting at least 50 pounds, and working in environments with moderate noise levels. Physical effort required is constant (67‑100%) with frequent handling tasks such as lifting, carrying, pushing/pulling, reaching, and handling/feeling objects.
