We are seeking a compassionate, patient‑focused, highly organized Oncology Nurse Coordinator to serve as the primary clinical contact for patients and caregivers throughout their healthcare journey. The role focuses on care coordination, patient advocacy, communication, and delivering an exceptional patient experience.

• Coordinate multidisciplinary care and ensure effective communication among providers.
• Utilize the nursing process to assess, develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
• Act as the central point of contact for patient and caregiver inquiries related to care plans.
• Proactively anticipate patient needs to ensure timely navigation.
• Assess learning needs and provide education to promote adherence to established care plans.
• Enhance patient experience by delivering excellent customer service and promptly addressing concerns.
• Perform all responsibilities aligned with the Nurse II role with additional emphasis on care coordination, communication, and patient advocacy.
• Interact with patients via phone, virtual visits, and the patient portal to ensure care is well coordinated.

Starting hourly rate is $51.65, which includes a comprehensive benefits package.

• License to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of New York.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or eligibility for certification.
• At least one (1) year of full‑time experience in oncology nursing, medical‑surgical nursing, or critical care (Bachelor’s degree in Nursing).
• Or three (3) years of full‑time medical‑surgical experience in an acute care setting (Bachelor’s degree in Nursing).
• Or three (3) years of full‑time experience in oncology nursing, medical‑surgical nursing, or critical care (Associate’s degree in Nursing).
• Or five (5) years of full‑time medical‑surgical experience in an acute care setting (Associate’s degree in Nursing).
• Incumbent must obtain and maintain applicable certification within thirty (30) months of appointment.
• Incumbent must obtain BLS certification within six (6) months of appointment.
• Incumbent must complete twelve (12) cancer‑related contact hours per calendar year unless certified by the Oncology Nursing Certification Corporation (ONCC).
