Job Type: Full-time

Schedule:

Monday 9am-6pm, Tuesday 8am-5pm, Wednesday 8am-5pm, Thursday 8am-5pm, Friday 8am-3pm

As a Hygiene Assistant, you will collaborate with the practice team to provide outstanding clinical support, ensuring patients receive the care they need. You will prepare patients for treatment, assist the hygienist/dentist in restorative procedures, and maintain a high standard of care and efficiency.

• Assist the dental hygienist with room preparation, patient seating, and documentation of patient visits.
• Record and review patients' health histories, enter chart entries under the direction of the physician or hygienist, and ensure completion of all necessary forms and signatures.
• Educate patients on their treatment plans and oral health maintenance.
• Work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment while establishing positive relationships with the team and patients.
• Communicate professionally, orally and in writing, with a service‑oriented approach.

• Dental Assisting Certification or prior on‑the‑job training.
• 1–5 years of experience preferred; new graduates welcome.
• Radiography/X‑Ray certification (state‑specific).
• Current CPR certification.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
