Ayden Healthcare of Oregon is currently hiring for Medical Records/Central Supply

Position Summary:

The Medical Records Clerk is responsible for maintaining all medical records in accordance with federal and state guidelines, as well as established Standards of Care and Facility policies and procedures to ensure that a complete medical record program is maintained. The Central Supply Aide is responsible for providing supplies and equipment in an efficient manner, in accordance with established procedures to various departments in the facility.

They will maintain supply and storage rooms in a safe, clean, and orderly condition. When the Central Supply Aide handles supplies and equipment, they will ensure that all established safety procedures and precautions are followed. The Central Supply Aide will also have the responsibility of checking invoices, purchase orders, packing slips, etc. with incoming merchandise. With the various responsibilities and access to sensitive information, the Central Supply Aide will have, it is essential that they maintain total confidentiality of all pertinent patient care information in order to ensure patient rights are protected at all times.

In addition to these core responsibilities, the Central Supply Aide will be responsible for other various tasks as they are assigned to them by their supervisor.

Responsibilities & Duties
  • Collect and assemble patient records
  • Ensure that patient records are accurately processed from admission to discharge.
  • Assist the Medical Records Director with other responsibilities as necessary.
Qualifications
  • Must have excellent communication skills, especially verbal/oral communication
  • Must be able to work as part of a team, i.e., he/she must be an excellent team player
  • Possession of good organizational and leadership abilities is a prerequisite
  • Ability to work with little or no supervision
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Must prove to be extremely reliable
  • Must have excellent time management abilities
  • STNA Preferred but not required
