Security Officer - Refinery Perimeter Patrol in Oregon, OH. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that can help deter security-related incidents. You will communicate clearly with site teams and visitors, document observations, and respond to situations with professionalism. You will bring agility, reliability, and innovation to every shift, delivering through teamwork and always acting with integrity.

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Respond to alarms, releases, fires, medical events, and other critical incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner, and notify site contacts and/or public responders as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of process areas, tank farms, loading and unloading zones, parking areas, and perimeter lines to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
• Monitor access points, check credentials, control visitor and contractor entry, and maintain accurate logs for personnel, vehicles, and deliveries in accordance with site requirements.
• Complete required reports and documentation, communicate observations to site management and Allied Universal leadership, and support investigations by preserving facts and directing people to appropriate resources.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
