Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a transportation location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout terminals, yards, parking areas, buildings, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify entry and/or exit authorization for employees, contractors, visitors, and deliveries, helping to support site rules and restricted area controls.
• Serve in an armed post in accordance with Allied Universal standards and site requirements, maintaining professional presence and readiness while following all applicable post orders and reporting procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, and/or corrections experience is required.
• An armed guard card/license is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
