The Confederated Tribesof Warm Springs (CTWS} arelookingfor apermanent Fisheries Technician Illtoassist with our fisheries/habitat fieldworkand hatcheryoperations at the Hood River field office.

andinvolvesfield,technical,outreach,andoffice work. Incumbents will work with minimal supervision and be expected to solve problems and orient tasks efficiently. Candidateswillconductfisheries,habitat,andhatcheryfieldoperationssupporting

Tribalfisheries management and conservation. Perform fish sampling, PITtagging, redd and habitat surveys, snorkeling,trapoperation,data collection,maintenance,andsummaryreporting.

Operate standard fisheriesequipment,workindependentlyinchallengingfieldconditions,andassistwithresearch, habitat restoration, and hatchery activities.

Requires experience with Pacific Northwest fish species, strongdatamanagementandoral/writingcommunication,3yr.of  Fisheriesor a related natural resources field, andthe ability toperform physically demanding outdoor work c andidate mustsuccessfullypassadrug/alcohol pre-employment screening and criminal background check with Federal, Tribal and State Law Enforcement,possessa Valid Oregon Driver 'slicense,andbeinsurablebythe

Tribalcarrier.
