Fisheries Tech II - Native Plant Nursery Technician

The Tribal Native Plant Nursery operates under the Branch of Natural Resources with the mission to "propagate native plants of cultural and ecological importance for use in riparian restoration projects that aim to protect, manage, and enhance habitat that supports culturally significant fish populations for the Confederated Tribes of the Warm Springs Reservation of Oregon."

This position works in the Native plant nursery, which produces up to 25,000 containerized plants per year for the purpose of riparian restoration across the John Day River Basin. This is done through a mixture of hardwood cuttings and seed propagation. This position is focused on assisting with the production and planting of these native plants.
