What You'll Do As a Farm Equipment & Irrigation Operator, you'll help support crop production and farm operations by:

• Operating and monitoring flood and pivot irrigation systems to ensure crops receive the water they need to thrive.
• Troubleshooting and repairing pivot irrigation equipment to maintain efficient operations.
• Supporting irrigation activities, including digging corrugates, transporting equipment, and assisting with water management projects.
• Operating a variety of farm equipment and machinery for tasks such as tillage, planting, spraying, cultivating, and other field operations.
• Preparing fields and supporting crop establishment according to seasonal production schedules.
• Maintaining farm property and infrastructure, including fence construction and repair, weed control, and upkeep of farm buildings and structures.
• Assisting with seasonal maintenance and repair projects to keep equipment and facilities operating safely and efficiently year-round.
• Working closely with the farm team on a variety of projects that contribute to the success of the operation.

Work Environment This is a hands-on agricultural position that takes place primarily outdoors in varying weather conditions. You'll work around farm equipment, irrigation systems, and agricultural machinery while contributing directly to crop production and farm success. Physical Requirements This role is well-suited for individuals who enjoy active, physical work. Duties may include:
Standing and walking for extended periods. Bending, kneeling, crouching, and working on uneven ground. Climbing ladders and working at varying heights when needed. Frequently lifting and moving materials weighing up to 100 pounds. Working outdoors in changing weather conditions.
