A new urgent care hospital in Happy Valley, OR, is being built around longer-term veterinarian ownership rather than a traditional associate model. The practice will serve urgent, non-life-threatening cases with no overnight shifts and flexible scheduling.

This Happy Valley, OR urgent care hospital is hiring a full-time Urgent Care Veterinarian. The hospital is designed to sit between primary care and emergency medicine, handling walk-in cases that need attention but do not require a full emergency hospital. The new facility will have modern diagnostic and treatment equipment, with veterinarians retaining medical autonomy over their cases. Surgery will be part of the caseload where appropriate, alongside urgent medical cases, diagnostics, and procedures.

The practice is being launched specifically to provide convenient evening and weekend access for local pet owners when many primary care hospitals are closed. That means the day-to-day caseload will be varied, with doctors seeing a mix of acute injuries, illness, and cases that need same-day assessment without the intensity of a 24-hour emergency service.

• DVM or equivalent degree from an accredited university
• Active Oregon veterinary license in good standing
• Current DEA license or ability to obtain one upon hire

• At least 2 years of veterinary experience
