Position Summary:

The Cleanroom Tech Checker is responsible for the inspection of incoming and outgoing parts required for use by the customer and used in the maintenance of the customer's machinery. This position assists the customer quality team in identifying parts that may be irregular or classified as Dead on Arrival (DOA). Work from diagrams, written and verbal descriptions provided by the customer for the conduct of inspections.

Ensures part integrity and completeness through the maintenance of a tracking file. Irregularities are documented, corrective actions taken as directed or escalated to the Quality support team.

• Assists in the activities of the Quality Control function to ensure achievement of company and client Key Element objectives.
• Evaluates data obtained through SAP to determine correctness and completeness of parts.
• Gathers and records data through a shared portal which provides information to the quality support team for guidance and decision making.
• Reviews data generated in support of the Quality Assurance program; prepares reports and summaries based on data.
• Keeps up to date on overall activities of the DC, identifying problem areas and presenting data to support the position.
• Aids to ensure that quality system requirements are maintained.
• Responsible for various reports including tracking and trending.
• Use of SAP, Excel and SharePoint to systematically investigate issues and follow up to previously identified issues.
• Performs Hold and Release transactions.
• Understanding ESD processes and act accordingly.
• Ability to read simple technical drawings.
• Meticulous with a sense for quality and attention to detail.
• Able to work autonomously and self-independent.
• Compliance and quality control.
• Support other areas as required.
• Impact of Decisions – Ensures that network operations comply with federal, state, local, and/or company policies and regulations.

• Education and/or
  
  Experience:
  
  Must have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Ability to handle basic statistical control methods.
• Must have previous Inventory experience.
• Current or previous experience with Quality Management System.

• Experience working in a logistics/distribution/relevant environment.
• Previous experience working with Internal Audits, Document Control, and Corrective Action plans.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is rarely exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.

For this position, the expected base pay rate is $25.75 hourly. Actual compensation will be determined based on job-related factors such as relevant experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location, in accordance with applicable laws and company policy.
