Position Summary

The Cleanroom Tech Checker is responsible for the inspection of incoming and outgoing parts required by the customer and used in the maintenance of the customer’s machinery. This position assists the customer quality team in identifying parts that may be irregular or classified as Dead on Arrival (DOA). Works from diagrams, written and verbal descriptions as provided by the customer for conduct of inspections.

Ensures part integrity and completeness through the maintenance of a tracking file. Irregularities are documented and corrective actions are taken as directed or escalated to the Quality support team.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  • Assists in the activities of the Quality Control function to ensure achievement of company and client Key Element objectives.
  • Evaluates data obtained through SAP to determine correctness and completeness of parts.
  • Gathers and records data through a shared portal which provides information to the quality support team for guidance and decision making.
  • Reviews data generated in support of the Quality Assurance program; prepares reports and summaries based on data.
  • Keeps up to date on overall activities of the DC, identifying problem areas and presenting data to support position.
  • Aids to ensure that quality system requirements are maintained.
  • Responsible for various reports including tracking and trending.
  • Uses SAP, Excel and SharePoint to systemically investigate issues and follow up to previously identified issues.
  • Performs Hold and Release transactions.
  • Understands ESD processes and acts accordingly.
  • Ability to read simple technical drawings.
  • Meticulous with a sense for quality and attention to detail.
  • Able to work autonomously and self‑independent.
  • Ensures compliance and quality control.
  • Supports other areas as required.
  • Ensures that network operations comply with federal, state, local, and/or company policies and regulations.

Minimum

Required Qualifications
  • Must have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Ability to handle basic statistical control methods.
  • Must have previous inventory experience.
  • Current or previous experience with a Quality Management System.
  • Must possess excellent computer skills: MS Office, Windows, Visio.
  • English (reading, writing, verbal).
  • Basic to intermediate level of mathematical skills.
  • Ability to perform duties with minimal supervision or guidance.
  • Must be able to effectively adapt to change and thrive in a stimulating, fast‑paced work environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in a logistics/distribution/relevant environment.
  • Previous experience with Internal Audits, Document Control, and Corrective Action plans.
  • Current or previous experience with a Quality Management System.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee rarely is exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.
