The Barista position at The Spinn Café is a guest-facing role focused on delivering high-quality coffee, cocktails, and crepes with warm, efficient service in a fast-paced hotel café environment. This role is multi-functional and requires the ability to perform several job duties within a single shift. Responsibilities include preparing espresso drinks to standard, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, handling transactions, and creating a welcoming start to the guest experience each morning.

Strong attention to detail, consistency, and a friendly, team-oriented attitude are essential, as this position helps set the tone for the day across the property.

Duties & Responsibilities

Stock bar, espresso station, and service areas while maintaining cleanliness and organization

Keep espresso machines, bar tools, and all beverage equipment clean, sanitized, and fully operational

Welcome guests warmly, assist with hotel check-in process, and provide exceptional first impressions

Answer phone calls professionally, handle inquiries, and assist with hotel reservations

Process transactions accurately through the POS system, including room charges, cash, and credit payments

Support overall café operations by adapting to multiple roles and performing various duties within a single shift

Qualifications

OR food handlers card

OLCC Alcohol Service Permit (must be 21+ years of age)

1+ years bartending/barista experience preferred

Great communication and teamwork skills

Able to work shifts with extensive standing/walking

Able to work nights, weekends, and holidays
