Imagine yourself working on the line in a busy café—preparing fresh food, working alongside a supportive kitchen team, and taking pride in every plate that leaves the kitchen. The Plateau Travel Plaza is opening soon, and we are building a strong culinary team to support Three Teepees Café in our newly remodeled and expanded property.
We are currently seeking a Line Cook to help prepare quality meals in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented kitchen. This full-time position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands‑on work, thrives during busy service times, and takes pride in preparing food that keeps guests coming back.
What you’ll do- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards
- Set up and stock cooking stations with necessary supplies
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cooking line
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and safety procedures
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure efficient service
- Monitor food quality, portion sizes, and presentation
- Assist with cleaning duties at the end of shifts
- Support a positive and respectful kitchen environment
The starting wage for a Line Cook is $18.00 per hour, depending on experience (DOE), plus a shift differential for non‑standard hours, ranging from an additional $0.50 to $2.50 per hour, depending on the shift worked.

QualificationsA few qualities we’re looking for:
- Previous cooking or kitchen experience preferred, but not required
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced kitchen environment
- Knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation practices (or willingness to learn)
- Comfortable standing, walking, lifting, and performing physical tasks throughout a shift
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Availability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to pass a criminal history background check and pre-employment drug testing
- Must be 18 years of age or older
