Job Title

Under the hierarchical authority of the sous chef, chef de cuisine, and responsible for the southern sites, the cook will be in charge of the following activities:

Main duties:

• Prepare and present dishes or services to be served in collective catering;
• Assume responsibility for tasks delegated by the chef de cuisine.

Activities:

• Prepare recipes and menus according to provided instructions;
• Engage in catering and/or online ordering activities;
• Set up the distribution chain and distribution of products (cold and hot links);
• Share culinary know-how elements with team members;
• Verify the supply of products and materials for the sector they are responsible for;
• Participate in the maintenance of kitchen equipment and premises;
• Apply food and culinary hygiene standards, as well as current safety standards;
• Ensure the qualitative follow-up and traceability of their production;
• Provide reception and service.

This list of activities is not exhaustive. The duties may evolve or be supplemented according to the needs of the service and the orientations of the establishment.

• Culinary know-how;
• Knowledge of hygiene and safety rules in catering and public reception;
• Knowledge of conservation, packaging, and repackaging techniques and assembly;
• Knowledge of equipment and new catering methods;
• Implementation of technical sheets.
