Location: Ashwood, Victoria

Roster: Wednesday & Friday (9 hours per week)

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Catering Assistant to join our team at one of our aged care sites in Ashwood.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced kitchen environment and takes pride in delivering high-quality food and excellent service.

• Prepare and assemble food items including salads, sandwiches, and texture-modified meals
• Assist with meal service, ensuring a high standard of presentation and customer service
• Restock supplies before, during, and after service periods
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and dining areas, including dishwashing duties
• Set tables and assist with plating and meal distribution

• Previous experience in food preparation and/or customer service
• Experience in contract catering or aged care (desirable but not essential)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment
• Current Flu Vaccination and National Criminal History Check (or willingness to obtain)
