Customer Service Rep, Golf Club / Golf Industry
Hourly Rate: $17/hour
SUMMARYThe Golf Shop Attendant assists the Golf Shop Manager in day-to-day operations and ensures meeting service objectives. Promotes and nurtures customer relations to enhance the quality of the golf experience, including assisting with retail sales in the Golf Shop.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Responsible for learning all aspects of the point of sale system and tee sheet software. This includes helping book tee times, selling merchandise, and checking golfers in for their round.
- Stays current with business objectives & initiatives and takes an active role in making impressions on sales prospects as well as all members and their guests. Continually strives to learn about the Pronghorn Brand and instill this culture in other staff members.
- Assist in being the link between the inside staff and outside services. Works closely with the outside supervisor to ensure that every member and guest's expectations are exceeded and that the staff provides “above and beyond” service.
- Assist with special orders, including hard goods, ordering, inventory management, and sales.
- Actively engage in retail sales, including assisting customers with product selection, offering knowledgeable recommendations on golf‑related merchandise, and ensuring the Golf Shop is well‑stocked and visually appealing.
- Work with the Head Professional and all club departments to ensure events are scheduled in a timely manner that minimizes or eliminates conflicts and allows for optimal service to members.
- Enhance a customer service‑oriented atmosphere that promotes the game of golf and meets the needs of the membership. Anticipate potential problems & opportunities with a problem‑solving approach.
- Assist the Head Professional by working closely with other departments, especially the golf course superintendent, food & beverage, and clubhouse staff, regarding communications and initiatives required to meet service and operational objectives.
- Assist merchandiser as needed with on‑floor merchandising, including steaming, product displays, and inventory organization.
- Effectively handle multiple tasks.
- Regular and reliable attendance.
- Maintain a professional standard at Pronghorn, including but not limited to appearance, interaction with members, associates, and guests of the club, verbal discussions, and written correspondence. Does not discuss work‑related issues with members and guests.
- Other tasks as assigned within the scope of Golf Operations.

Proficient in hospitality, interpersonal skills, attention to detail, Internet technologies, and continuing improvement in Google products.

- Ability to read and speak English.

- Guest Services.
- Retail sales and product knowledge, particularly related to golf apparel, equipment, and accessories.
