About this position
Willamette Valley Vineyards is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Merchandise Coordinator to join our Estate team. The Merchandise Coordinator is responsible for supporting the growth, presentation, inventory management, and profitability of merchandise sales across all Willamette Valley Vineyards locations. This role requires strong organizational skills, leadership abilities, and an eye for visual design.
Primary Responsibilities- Oversee the planning and execution of merchandise layouts to optimize space and product placement.
- Manage inventory control, stock replenishment, and stockroom organization to ensure product availability.
- Coordinate remodeling or design projects.
- Implement branding strategies through visual merchandising, signage, and store displays that align with marketing.
- Conduct pricing analysis and adjust product pricing in accordance with retail math principles to maximize profitability.
- Assist with retail sales activities, POS operations, and customer service to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Maintain cleanliness standards within the store environment to uphold a professional appearance.
- Proven supervising experience in retail or store management roles.
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and visual design tools.
- Knowledge of merchandising principles, planograms, schematics, and interior design concepts.
- Experience with inventory management systems, POS systems, and retail math calculations.
- Excellent communication skills coupled with organizational skills to lead teams effectively.
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Multilingual abilities are a plus for engaging diverse customer bases.
- Background in marketing, branding, remodeling projects, or training & development is desirable.
- Prior experience in retail sales, customer service, pricing strategies, or stock management is preferred. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual passionate about retail merchandising and store presentation excellence.
- Lift 40lbs and navigate stairs, uneven surfaces, and hilly terrain.
- Stand/ walk for long periods of time.
- Effectively present information and respond to questions appropriately.
