Operations Manager

Position Summary
As a Realty Project Coach, you will join our Realty Execution team for Walmart U.S. You will take ownership in delivering store and club remodels, new stores, clubs, and special projects across the U.S. Your responsibility will be to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet our top‑notch quality standards. In this role, you will partner with store team leads to supervise hourly team members, handle escalations, and collaborate with store leadership to keep everything on track.
You will have the opportunity to travel to projects across the U.S.
Primarily working overnights; night shifts average from 10 to 12 hours. Frequent travel up to 1,000 miles from home is required. You will be away from home 80% of the time, or for 17‑21 days at a time.
CompensationAnnual salary range: $60,000 – $110,000. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Certain positions may also receive stock.
Minimum Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field and at least 1 year of experience in project management, space management, store design, operations, data analysis, or a related area; OR 3 years of experience in the same fields.
- Master’s degree in Business or related field.
- 1 year’s experience leading cross‑functional teams.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
- Own the execution of projects in assigned stores, ensuring they meet timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Partner with store team leads to supervise hourly team members, handle escalations, and collaborate with store leadership.
- Communicate project plans, changes, and obstacles to key stakeholders; understand store operations and minimize operational impact.
- Motivate, coach, and develop associates; provide training, recognition, and career‑path guidance.
- Resolve concerns from store leadership, suppliers, and associates; enforce compliance with company policies and the Open‑Door Policy.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, identify business needs, monitor progress, and implement improvement opportunities.
- Support the implementation of business solutions through partnership with stakeholders and by monitoring progress and results.
