As a Sales Associate, you will be the face of the company, delivering outstanding customer service and building strong relationships with restaurants, caterers, hotels, and retail establishments.
Responsibilities- Generate revenue by developing new business opportunities and expanding existing accounts.
- Compile lists of prospective customers from networking, industry directories, trade shows, etc.
- Travel throughout the assigned territory and call on existing and prospective customers to secure orders.
- Present products using samples or catalogs to highlight key features and benefits.
- Quote prices and credit terms, prepare contracts, and manage order details.
- Provide delivery estimates and collect payments in a timely manner.
- Maintain detailed records of transactions, expense reports, and internal systems.
- Collaborate with inside sales representatives to keep account activities up to date.
- Track inventory levels to align product availability with demand.
- Develop long‑term relationships rooted in trust and collaboration.
- 1–2 years of experience in restaurant/food sales, catering, or as a chef (highly desired).
- Positive, energetic, team‑player attitude with determination to overcome obstacles.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and prioritization skills.
- Self‑starter who asks questions and learns quickly.
- College degree desired (not required).
- Ability to foster a positive, innovative atmosphere.
- Comfortable with data‑driven performance monitoring.
- Live within commuting distance of the assigned sales area.
- Have reliable transportation.
- Basic computer skills and understanding.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
