Security Officer - Roving Patrol in Warrenton, VA
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and support staff, patients and visitors with professional service. You will complete routine rounds, observe and report concerns, and assist with access points and visitor flow as needed.

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors and staff by following Allied Universal security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, coordinating with clinical staff and/or local responders as directed by post orders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, entrances, parking areas and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations; working environments and conditions may vary by assignment.
• Monitor access points and visitor flow, assisting with directions, way finding and compliance with facility rules while documenting unusual activity and/or incidents.
• Complete written and/or electronic reports, activity logs and shift handoffs, and communicate relevant security‑related information to supervisors and site contacts.

• CPR certification is preferred and may be completed post‑hire.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
