AWS Infrastructure Physical Security Team is looking for a detail‑oriented, experienced and professional Cluster Security Manager. You will manage the security of large critical infrastructure installations, ideally data centers, and lead a team of professional security managers across several facilities within a short driving distance.

• Establish and maintain a robust customer relationship with key customers in and outside of the Cluster to ensure complete understanding of security processes and enable the delivery of viable security responses.
• Plan, develop and implement security plans and programs such as Emergency Response and Crisis Management, Physical Security, and Incident Management, coordinating site investigations with the Global Intelligence and Investigative team.
• Maintain extensive knowledge of complex industry trends, current security issues, and security technology, and update management on risks and threats that could impact Data Centers.
• Perform annual risk analysis for assigned Data Center sites, particularly regarding crime, terrorism, workplace violence, and threats from natural and man‑made disasters.
• Provide leadership and best practices to the on‑site Cluster/Campus Data Center Management Team on security policy and practices.
• Identify exposures, provide recommendations and develop corrective plans to be presented to next‑level management.
• Provide leadership, advice, and guidance to AWS Data Center staff and contract security force staff in achieving current and long‑range strategic program objectives.
• Serve as staff support to security management and assist in conducting investigations of significant threats or loss/misappropriation of assets.
• Liaise with local, state and federal law enforcement agencies for assigned locations.

• 10+ years of physical security experience
• 5+ years of security management experience
• 5+ years of leadership role experience

• Experience in security operations in a leadership role
• Experience in physical security best practices, including application of physical security systems, investigation techniques, management of contract security guards, and incident management
• Experience in program management or services experience deploying technology solutions
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities, or experience working with customers with a passion for delivering exceptional service
• Experience managing multiple projects and priorities across teams in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment
• Advanced Degree or certifications such as CPP, CISSP, PSP, PMP
• Proven leadership skills and strong business acumen
